these are made from a type of yam or tofu. the yam one supposedly tastes better and has no carbs and practically no calories. it is mostly water and fiber. not sure about the tofu one.
apparently if you boil them in a broth for a long time, they take on the flavor of whatever you are cooking (otherwise they have no to little taste). i want to try them in ramen.
