Though it's an older OS, I recommend 2.2 over the newer ones because it doesn't require you to log onto gmail to boot up the OS. If you prefer a newer build, you can find a bunch in the above link.

when I updated my S2 recently it was gone and the flash wont work, so I uninstalled it then reinstalled it... and now it works

"Android beyond 4.0" Won't support flash. It should work on your S2. Android 4.0 is Ice Cream sandwhich. 4.1 is Jellybean.
