What they told you in high school is true and nothing calculus related can change that.

Yeah, infinity is not a number, it's a concept. But there are different sizes of infinity. The proof is a bit harder than I thought. But if you think about it, no matter how you shrink it, you can't map counting numbers to the set of real number (both sets of which are infinite).

But even if you were to map the numbers into sets they would both go into infinity. Doesn't different sizes imply a definite number? Does infinity even exist concretely?
