Once upon a dark stormy night, von was on her bed sleeping. Her hand fell on the side of her bed and she felt a tickle. She moaned "stop it dog" so the dog stopped. An hour later the dog started licking again and again she told it to stop. 30 minutes later it licked her hand again so she told it to stop again. 10 minutes later von went for a drink and then went to the bathroom. Once she got to the bathroom, she saw blood everywhere and she saw her dog hanging from the shower and on her mirror was written in blood "humans can lick hands too"

air bending is prevalent. aang found a colony of air nomads with air bisons. blood bending is present as well. metal bending is mainly for the security guards of the republic city and I think one of the main enemy as well uses metal.

ooh I think since metal bending is like over used, it will have a counter element. I'm guessing this is where lightning comes in, since metal is a good conductor for electricity.

Blood bending is beast, how is anyone supposed to counter that.
Air bending needs a sub class still. Maybe they can bend the air out of people's lungs and make them suffocate.

it's not explained how the air nomads survived, but the creators said aang found a colony. well the earth is big anyway, I doubt the fire benders wiped them out clean. stop questioning the logic
