No. It just did that over time. |

| It's dangerous because it holds a lot of power. But manufacturers usually set up multiple safety mechanisms so it doesn't explode. I'm no expert but I don't think batteries should pop out like that over time. XD I found this website for finding a place to drop off the battery http://www.call2recycle.org/home.php?c=1&w=1&r=YApparently a lot of stores accept them! I didn't know so many did. Just type in your zip code on the right side (the box looks like an advertisement but it's where you type to search, lol). |

| Man Viz, what were you doing to that thing? Oh and yeah, Nova's right... o__o Batteries leak toxins once broken or damaged, so be sure to dispose of them safely at locations like Nova said. NEVER EVER throw them in the trash can, no matter how small. Eventually the toxins get into the water supply if thrown in a dump site and... well... not pretty. |

| Battery acid is something nasty. I had a couple of AA batteries leak on me once. The worst part is that it has no smell so you can't really tell it's acid. |

What happened? When I'm done with my batteries, I just throw them in a drawer, is that wrong? |
